COVID-19 Update 19 November 2020
Please be advised that the safety and wellbeing of our service users and our team of wonderful home care workers is our utmost priority.
We continue to take on new services but we first ensure that they are symptom-free or have been tested negative prior to discharge from hospital.
Our home care workers are required to report to the office immediately should they have any suspicion of symptoms. A COVID test can then be arranged as appropriate.
Whether you have symptoms or test positive for COVID, please be assured that we will continue to support you with all your personal care needs. We have set up a dedicated COVID team for this very situation.
As the risks of onward transmission of the virus is so great, we are not prepared to mix COVID with non-COVID services.
With the second wave of COVID and the heightened risk of spread in the community, PPE and good hand hygiene continues to be our best line of defense. The wearing of gloves, aprons and face masks is mandatory with all our home care workers.
We are privileged to confirm that we continue to have ZERO cases of COVID-19 within our service users and workforce.
